This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Albany follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Stopped while they had a Beef Ribs and Turkey Legs special running. The beef rib was good, usually prefer the more tender meat, but this one was seasoned really well and easier to handle. Really liked the brisket and my brother agreed, it was very juicy and tender. The smoked Turkey leg was unique, haven't seen many in the area. It was very very juicy, the foil was leaking and full of juice. The meat itself was pretty good, I'd definitely recommend trying it. Definitely will try and stop in again.

Here is a review you can use: **βββββ Highly Recommend!** If you're looking for absolutely delicious food and incredible customer service, look no further than Big D's Meat BBQ! I was specifically looking for something soft and tender for my wife, Jelin, and they completely delivered. Their BBQ ribs are primeβcooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection and flavored with exactly the right amount of sauce. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you Big D's Meat BBQ!

This was my boyfriend's and my first time trying out Big Dβs Meats BBQ and we honestly loved it! We were watching a lot of Texas BBQ videos online, so we were really craving some authentic BBQ and this place did not disappoint. The customer service was honestly the best, the staff was very welcoming, especially Derek (we are assuming thatβs his name based on other reviews), who was super nice and friendly and even gave us free samples of the brisket to try when we told him it was our first time. Being new to the area and walking in for the first time, it felt a little intimidating, with the small, intimate space and the staff talking to other customers in a way that made it seem like they were regulars. So, coming in, we felt like outsiders at the neighborhood BBQ spot. But again, the front staff were really welcoming and greeted us with the same friendliness they showed to the other customers, which definitely eased our anxiety when ordering. Donβt worry about not knowing what to order right away, because he gave us a rundown on what they had left and what they offered β very patient so shoutout to them! We ended up getting two platters β the brisket platter with mac & cheese an

I finally tried this place for the first time last weekend, before the snowstorm. My dad and I both ordered trinity platters, my brother ordered the brisket Mac and cheese wrap. I ordered ribs, brisket, and chicken for the meats and I did Mac and cheese and potato salad for my sides. My dad got the turkey, brisket, pork belly burnt ends, mac and cheese, green beans, a side of banana pudding and the owner threw in a jalapeΓ±o cheddar sausage. My absolute favorite item was the pork belly burnt ends (my dad got the last order π‘), the glaze on them was perfection, I will definitely be back for more of those. The chicken was alright, I would prefer a whole piece, rather than it be pulled apart. The brisket was pretty good, I prefer mine a little more seasoned, but it's better with the spicy bbq sauce on it. The ribs were ok, they were kind of small and not as meaty as I was hoping for, not bad though. The jalapeΓ±o cheddar sausage was good it had a nice kick. As for the sides I enjoyed the Mac and cheese, it could be a tad creamier, but it had good flavor. The cornbread was good, nice and moist and had a nice hint of sweeteness. Unfortunately, I did not care for the potato salad the pota

Really great food from really nice people! The meats are all delicious (and probably the best pulled pork I've had this far north)! They often run really great specials, too, including some holiday meals (like Thanksgiving and St. Patrick's day) and recently, some awesome brunch options.
